Introduction

Welcome to Kindergarten.  My name is Mrs. Hill. This is my 10th year with Conroe I.S.D.  I have also taught in Southern California, Nevada, and at Primrose Schools in The Woodlands.

As a teacher and a parent of 4 children, I have a vested interest in the success of all of our schools.   
I am very flexible and welcome your participation and suggestions.  Please let me know if you have any concerns or questions.  My door is always open!

How Can Parents Help?
* Read aloud to your child.  
* Have them read to you.
* Establish an after school homework routine.
* Discuss work with your child.  Praise, praise, and praise!
* Sign and return papers promptly.
* Give your child access to a variety of learning materials at home.
                educational videos, workbooks, games, computers, books, etc.
* Give your child chores to do at home.  It helps them feel capable and successful.
* Have your child write letters and thank you notes to friends and relatives.
* Provide your child with a journal or diary to write in at home.
