Danielle Trahan
Third Grade Math and Science

Conference period: 9:15 am- 10:05 pm

Hi! I'm Mrs. Trahan and I am a third grade math/science teacher at San Jacinto Elementary. My partner is Mrs. Guthrie and she teaches language arts (reading and writing) and social studies. We are very excited to be partners in your child's education!

Attendance is extremely important to your child's success in school. Please have your child here by 8:00 a.m. to insure that they are ready to work by 8:05. If your child eats breakfast at school, please have them here by 7:40. Learning takes place until 3:05. Please schedule all appointments after that time.

Communication and Involvement
We look forward to partnering with you this year. Together we can create a successful year for your child.
Teachers always appreciate help and parent involvement. If you would like to volunteer at any level, please fill out the CISD volunteer form online. Also, contact me to create a schedule. Thank you in advance for your commitment to your child's education.

Students are expected to practice math facts nightly and a short assignment that will be completed throughout the week. Homework is handed out on Monday and expected back on Friday.

 Communication/Daily Folder
Inside this folder, you will find notes from school/teacher, a planner, graded papers, and homework. Please sign and return the planner each night.

Birthdays are very special days. Your child may bring the class a treat to be shared at 2:45. Their treat must be dropped off by 2:00. Since this still instructional time, parents are not permitted into the classroom to celebrate.

Snack and Lunchtime
Students are permitted to eat a snack after specials each morning. Please send a healthy snack that can be eaten without utensils.

All transportation changes must be made by 2:00. If your child is a car rider you must have a car rider tag displayed. If you do not, you will be expected to park, come it, fill one out, and get back in line. Students must have trasportation tags (first one is provided by San Jacinto) attached to their backpacks daily. To replace a lost tag you must pay $1.00.
